Recital
I brought my kid-sized Remo World Drums to my current Thursday school to share a drum circle lesson w/ my music teacher buddy's 2nd grade class. Said drums were in the car when I picked Maddie up from Nana's on Thursday, and they were apparently calling to her. She spent the ride home desperately trying to reach them from her car seat. I brought them in overnight - to play with, and for temperature reasons, if anybody at school asks - and life was sweet. I love that the lyrics elude her at some points, but the melody and phrasing she gets VERY well. Music kid!

Of course she's musical! So cute--that made me smile. :)
That's a keeper. Looks like someone should get drums for her birthday or Christmas!
