Scene: Evening after first day of teacher in-service. First time Mommy & Daddy have been out of the house all day after a summer of playing stay-at-homers. I made dinner this evening.
Miss M pokes the food on her plate.
M: "Mommy, did you make dinner or did Daddy make dinner?"
Me: "I made dinner tonight."
M: "YOU did?"
Me: "Yes! I make dinner a lot!"
Turning to Bob: "Don't I?"
Bob was chewing, I think.
M: "Mommy, you terrify me."

Miss M is a RIOT!! What, is the saying "1 pound, 1 box, 1 happy family" not true?? On a side note, we have HH (for short) quite a bit. Jack is partial to the Beef Strogonoff version, and this is a child who won't eat much of anything! Strange.
